Matt Goulet

Matt grew up in northern Rhode Island and has been living in the Valley for 15 years. He's worked in IT at the Greenfield Public Schools, UMass Amherst, the MBTA and as a consultant for over 20 years.

Matt is a guitarist and he runs the Stone Soup Café Open Mic as well as being the organization's Treasurer and a regular weekly kitchen volunteer. He has developed several electric-acoustic instruments and software for improvising music.

What excites him about the work that Stone Soup is doing? "Creating community, hosting workshops and facilitating learning opportunities, supporting the needs of Greenfield citizens, and working to address food insecurity issues locally."
