Lauren Obregón

Lauren Obregón (she/they) began volunteering with Stone Soup Café in November 2023, and quickly fell in love with the Café's mission, its food, and the people she's gotten to know while working shoulder-to-shoulder.

After years in the restaurant and catering world, Lauren decided to join the education field as an elementary and middle school teacher. She has worked as a teacher in progressive schools in California and Massachusetts and is currently the Interim Co-Head of School of the Center School. Outside of working and volunteering, Lauren is a parent, a Highland Games athlete, an avid hiker, and a food lover.
