Tuesday, Feb 24th, 6-8PM - This month's conversation with Greenfield People's Budget explores how community members can engage in local government to shape policy and budget decisions rooted in justice and abolition. They are advocating for a city budget that residents write themselves through a process of participatory budgeting. Come learn more! Stone Soup will be serving a free dinner during the conversation.
This workshop is part of a larger series organized by Building Solidarity Economies, focused on mutual aid efforts, centering real examples, with clear ways to plug in.

Monday, Feb 16th, 5-7PM - It's going to be a big ol’ community love fest in honor of Valentine’s Day. Family-friendly. Pay-What-You-Can. Co-sponsored, as always, by our true love, LifePath.
By the way, Gary Yuhas, Executive Director of LifePath, wrote a fantastic piece highlighting the value of nonprofits in Franklin County.

"Nonprofits are real businesses. We innovate. We respond to crises in real time. We stretch every dollar as far as it will go. And we do it while strengthening the economic and social fabric of Franklin County."
