Join Stone Soup Café on this particular Thanks Giving Day to acknowledge, celebrate, and honor Indigenous resistance, while we share a delicious holiday meal that truly welcomes everyone.
At Stone Soup Café, we are practicing "both/and” thinking. We acknowledge that the history of the traditional “Thanksgiving” holiday is rooted in colonialism and violence. And we also acknowledge the beauty and necessity of giving thanks and appreciating each other’s gifts as the harvest ends.
The menu has been finalized! Check out the delicious offerings.
Volunteer shifts are still available for food prep on the days leading up to the meal. Sign up to volunteer!
We need DELIVERY DRIVERS! Sign up to deliver meals!
EIGHTY-FIVE of you participated in our first Community Survey! Wowee!
Our working group created a new survey with new questions, which will help us get to know you better.
If you've ever joined us for a meal or volunteered at Stone Soup, this survey is for YOU!
(It's even got cool graphics!)
Each November, Monte Belmonte (host of WRSI – 93.9 The River) leads an annual march against hunger from Springfield to Greenfield. The goal is to raise funds for The Food Bank of Western Mass.
Steve the Hippie, Jansyn Thaw, Whitney Robbins, and Maegan Boutot will be walking from Northampton to Greenfield on Tuesday, November 23rd. DONATE to the Stone Soup team!!
The march ends on the Greenfield Town Common around 4:30pm on Tuesday. Lots of local restaurants have teamed up and will be serving a pay-what-you-can dinner to the whole community starting at 5pm at Hawks and Reed. Join us for the after-party and cheer on the Stone Soup team!
